Refuge: Warwickshire’s Domestic Violence and Abuse Service
Refuge offers confidential, person-centred, tailored support to victim-survivors of domestic abuse.
Services include:
- A confidential safe place to stay for you and your children
- Community-based support to stay safe in your own home and secure your property
- Practical support with finances, housing, and the criminal justice process
- Emotional and peer support, including access to counselling and therapeutic services
- A 12-week group programme (women only) to help survivors recover and heal from trauma
- Support for children

Domestic Abuse Counselling Service
The Domestic Abuse Counselling Service works to reduce domestic abuse by providing free therapeutic intervention, working one-to-one with victims of domestic abuse from a ‘preventative perspective’ providing therapy that educates – with the purpose of increasing safety and reducing the risk of repeat victimisation. DACS services are provided from safe, accessible locations across Warwickshire.

Listening Ear – DiAmond Counselling and Therapy Service
Listening Ear – DiAmond Counselling and Therapy Service is now accepting referrals for all victim-survivors of domestic abuse who would like counselling and therapy sessions. The trauma informed service is a free to access and confidential service, available for all victim-survivors who are engaging with Refuge / The Warwickshire Domestic Violence and Abuse Service. The service offers both face-to-face and virtual appointments (as determined by the victim-survivor) for up to 10 sessions with group sessions after the completion of the 10 sessions.

Rights of Women

Sikh Women's Aid

Victim Support
If you call your local Victim Support team, we’ll provide support that’s personalised to you. We’ll listen with compassion and help you find ways to manage and feel safer. We can also inform you of your rights and the services that you may be entitled to. If you’d like us to, we can refer you to other specialist organisations that can also help.
We offer Adult and Children and Young People services. Our Adult team supports around all crimes excluding domestic abuse, sexual abuse and modern-day slavery.
Our Children and Young People’s team offer support around all crimes, excluding sexual abuse.

Restorative Justice Warwickshire
Victim Support currently runs a number of RJ services across England and Wales. Our services and RJ facilitators are trained to national standards and are able to deliver safe and eff ective restorative justice interventions. We support the right for all victims to be made aware of restorative justice and how they can take part.
Restorative Justice (RJ) brings together those harmed by crime, and those responsible for the harm. This enables everyone affected by a particular incident to play a part in repairing and finding a positive way forward. RJ gives those that have been harmed the chance to have their say, to get answers to their questions, and to move on with their lives. RJ also gives the person that caused harm an insight into the real impact of their behaviour, and an opportunity to make amends.
