Vital support for victims in £20 million funding boost
Part of this funding will go towards backing helplines which can offer potentially life-saving support for survivors of abuse.
Victims can find these experiences incredibly hard to talk about and contacting helplines for advice is often the first critical step in their journey to escape abuse, access vital support and eventually seek justice.
Call Warwickshire Domestic Violence Helpline on 0800 408 1552 (Monday-Friday 8:30am-8:30pm) or you can contact the national helpline on 0800 2000 247 which is available 24/7, or you can visit National DA Helpline.
To give victims direct access to financial support to escape abusive relationships, a wide range of specialist domestic abuse services will receive around £2 million through the Women’s Aid Flexible Fund.
The Flexible Fund for 2024/25 has now closed. However, the 2025/26 round of funding will reopen this summer. The opening date, along with the eligibility criteria and information on how to apply, will be updated on Talk2Someone in due course.
Should you have any other questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Women's Aid at flexiblefund@womensaid.org.uk.
