If you are reading this page on your desktop computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone, you'll be using a web browser to do it.
The most popular desktop web browsers available today are Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.
Mobile web browsers vary, but if you're using an iPhone or an iPad, you'll be using Safari to browse this page. If you're running Android, you'll be using Browser. And if you're running Windows Mobile, you're likely to be using Internet Explorer Mobile, or Opera Mini.
Simply put, web browsers are applications that allow you to access information and services on the internet.
