Target group: Staff who have not had any previous training about Domestic Abuse and its impact on children.
This programme aims to: Raise Awareness of Domestic Abuse and its impact on children and recignise how to respond if there are concerns that a child is exposed to Domestic Abuse.
By the end of the course participants will be able to demonstrate an awareness of:
- What is meant by Domestic Abuse
- How Domestic Abuse is experienced and consider its impact on children
- The action to take when we suspect possible harm to a child
- How best to seek out help and support for ourselves and colleagues
* It is recommended that you attedn this training prior to attending the full day WSCB domestic abuse and child protection.
